I am fascinated when it comes to the sky and and everything up there. It’s the same as believing in the existence of other consciousness and timelines, I believe in the galactic bodies too. Their energies are quite aligned with my soul and I cherish that every time.

THIS PIECE IS ABOUT THE CLOUDS.

Something comes alive in me when I look at the clouds. It projects a certain perspective of intimacy with me and feel very relatable. The sky is dominating, always around always grounded. It weathers all storms, rains, sunshine, lighting, thunder and it still lives. On on the difficult days of intense sun rays or heavy storm and rain, you still look it and taste it’s poetry, the shiny sky, the cloudy sky, the perfect weather sky and all its seasons are impeccable. Looking up to the at any point and breathing in brings me immediate peace; I am obsessed but it an obsession that doesn’t hurt anybody. I’ve taken several photos of the sky in several forms, but now I want to share the most recent ones. In addition to being a sky whore, I also happen to have a knack for photography so I do be taking bomb photos, if my friends and I do say so ourselves. FIRST PHOTO

ANGEL ENERGY.

This one I call Angel Energy. Angel energy is a word I speak to myself everyday, it is the energy my higher self moves with. So an angel found herself in the skies and was blessed with an incredible angel sight. The view from the top always gets me, both in the day and by night. I don’t like to do too much when I’m editing my photos and mostly always use the iPhone editing features. I had to stretch the scale a little too far with this one because it was very sunny so the light was hiding a bit of the details of the picture so I had to dim it a little more, reduced the vibration and highlighted the depth of the darker tones. It is a view of the sky from inside the clouds, I love the fact that the sky never ends even when you go higher. It feels so soft and delicate yet it has the strongest hovering presence and it is thick as fuck. The challenge I have with taking pictures on air is my need to be a good girl and keep my phone off, especially when I want to record the entire take off and landing process. That’s the time you should keep your phones off but here I am, on flight mode and doing the most. THIRD PHOTO

CLOUDENSION.

This second one you see above was from a regular Thursday morning. I had joined the driver to take my cousin to school as I do every other morning, she likes it when I ride with her. We were returning when they called, the sky called my attention and boy did she look fine that morning. One thing the sky will do is show off, their presence is inescapable and they know it. It had been raining in the past few days so that morning they had cleared up a bit. And by tradition, I reached for my phone and wiped the camera lens with my cloth and proceeded to take several shots. I didn’t wind down though, so I took them from the glass windows, I couldn’t risk my phone falling. I take and edit my pictures with my iPhone XR camera and I often think the about the wonderful things I’ll with a better camera. Anyways, I also edited this cloud photo with the iPhone edit only. I like using it because I like to keep my pictures very close to their natural state because I don’t like to do too much. I’ve some photo editing apps but I mostly opt for them only when I’m having a hard time being satisfied with a product. I used to worry about the nearly inevitable electric poles and wires when I photograph the sky but I’ve made peace with them and accepted them as part of the art. I encountered a difficulty while doing this and I’ll explain. FOURTH PHOTO. The photo I share below is the perfect illustration of two opposite ends of a spectrum. You see the sky, how beautiful and unreal they look, then you look down and see the worst experience anyone can have when simply trying to go about their business. It makes no sense that a road where people have to walk on and drive on everyday is this terrible. The road was so bumpy and it was difficult for me to get a steady shot. Aside the ease of just going about your businesses smoothly without minding the road, what happens to the high tendencies of getting involved in accidents on roads like this? The chances are evidently high. And it makes one general unproductive because spending 20 to 30 minutes on what should be a 5 minutes drive is just crazy, and it makes everyone stressed and cranky which also affects productivity. Safety is a comfort that should not be ignored by the people who are in charge. We deserve better that electing people who simply don’t give a shit about us and giving us a decent means of livelihood. We shouldn’t have to suffer in numbers fir a select few to treat the space like a play toy designed fir their own satisfaction and amusement only. The gaze from the sky down to the earth was suck a vibe killer. I think it would be really artistic if someone were to put the beautiful sky and the dirty road on a painting from an observing perspective (moments like this I wish I could paint). Anyways, vote wisely.
